PARKS MASTER PLAN UPDATE
This committee, appointed by the Lockhart City Council, will meet on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 6 pm, downstairs in the Glosserman Room, City Hall, at 308 W San Antonio Street.
Burditt Consulting will meet with the Steering Committee and City Staff to introduce the project, clarify objectives, gather input as to priorities for evaluating alternatives, and identify resources and challenges. This information will be used in preparation for the first Public Input Workshop to be held on October 10, 2017, at the same location and time.
The public is invited.
Lockhart Independent School District is seeking a qualified Third Party Administrator to administer its Section 125 plan and optional insurance program. The District seeks services from companies who have experience in developing and maintaining an employee benefit program as referenced above, and who have a track record for providing quality services. The District is seeking a long-term business relationship with a successful company that can provide pro-active management services. Sealed Bids for intersection improvements at the intersection of SH 21 and CR 176 in Caldwell County, Texas. will be received, from invited Bidders only, by Caldwell County, at the office of the County Engineer, located at 110 S. Main Street, 2nd Floor or P.O. Box 98, Lockhart, Texas 78644, until 2:00 PM local time on October 16, 2017, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing additional pavement, seal coat, and pavement markings on CR 176 to the north of SH 21 in Caldwell County, Texas.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The Caldwell-Hays ESD 1 will hold a meeting at 06:00 PM on September 29, 2017 at CTFR Station 3, 9835 FM 1854, Lytton Springs, TX to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for tax year 2017. The proposed tax rate is 0.100000 per $100 of value.
The proposed tax rate would increase total taxes in Caldwell-Hays ESD 1 by 8.342362 percent.
The City of Lockhart is accepting bonded bids from qualified General Contractors until Monday, October 9th, 2017, at 10:00 am for the construction of a fire station add-on project located at 1914 W. San Antonio Street. Bids must be submitted to the City of Lockhart, 308 W. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas 78644, during normal business hours. Bids not received by the required time and date will be returned unopened. There is a $60.00 refundable deposit for the bid specifications and construction plans picked up at City Hall. Specifications and construction plans will also be available on the City’s website at www.lockhart-tx.org .
There will be a mandatory pre-construction meeting on Monday, October 2, 2010, at 10 am at City Hall, 308 W. San Antonio St., downstairs in the Glosserman Room.
The City of Lockhart reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Lockhart ISD will be auctioning a 24 ft x 64 ft – 2 classroom portable building. To bid on the portable building please go to www.renebates.com/a_main.php?id=270. All bidders must be registered with Rene Bates Auctioneers. The auction will open Thursday, September 21st and close Thursday, October 5th at Noon.
