NOTICE OF PUBLIC SALE

Pursuant to the provisions set forth in Chapter 59 of the texas Property Code, Fogle Store and Lock will hold a public auction of property being sold to satisfy a landlord’s lien.

Bids will be made for the contents of the entire unit only. Property will be sold to the highest bidder for cash

only, and the highest bidder must place his lock on the unit door and take possession of the property immediately. Fogle Store and Lock shall reserve the right to reject any bids.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR OIL AND GAS

WASTE DISPOSAL WELL PERMIT

 

O.G.O. Refining, 300 South Walnut St., Luling, Texas  78648 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a permit to dispose of produced salt water or other oil and gas waste, including hydrogen sulfide, by well injection into a porous formation not productive of oil or gas.  The applicant proposes to dispose of oil and gas waste into the Lower Edwards C Formation, Moses -A- Lease, Well Number 4.  The proposed disposal well is located 5 miles northeast of Luling, Texas in the Salt Flat Field, in Caldwell County.  The waste water will be injected into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 2912 to 3044 feet.

 

LEGAL AUTHORITY:  Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.

 

Requests for a public hearing from persons who can show they are adversely affected, or requests for further information concerning any aspect of the application should be submitted in writing, within fifteen days of publication, to the Environmental Services Section, Oil and Gas Division, Railroad Commission of Texas, P.O. REQUIREMENT TO

COMPLY WITH THE

SUBDIVISION SERVICE EXTENSION POLICY OF MAXWELL WATER

SUPPLY CORPORATION

Pursuant to Chapter 13.2502 of the Texas Water Code, Maxwell Water Supply Corporation (MWSC) hereby gives notice that any person who subdivides land by dividing any lot, tract or parcel of land, within the service area of MWSC, Certificate of Convenience and Necessity No. 10293, in Hays or Caldwell Counties, into two or more lots or sites for the purpose of sale or development, whether immediate or future, including re-subdivision of land for which a plat has been filed and recorded or requests more than two water service connections on a single contiguous tract of land must comply with all applicable requirements of the MWSC Tariff and Appendix B – Rules and Regulations Concerning Maxwell’s Service to Subdivisions (referred to herein as “Appendix B”).

Maxwell Water Supply Corporation is not required to extend retail water utility service to a service applicant in a subdivision where the developer of the subdivision has failed to comply with all of the applicable requirements of the MWSC Tariff and Appendix B.

Applicable requirements from the MWSC Tariff and Appendix B may include but are not limited to the following:

Evaluation by MWSC of the impact a proposed subdivision service extension will make on MWSC’s water supply system and payment of the costs for this evaluation by the developer;

Payment of reasonable costs or fees by the developer for providing water supply service capacity;

Payment of fees for reserving water supply service capacity; forfeiture of reserved water supply service capacity for failure to pay applicable fees; Payment of costs of any improvements to MWSC’s system that are necessary to provide the water service; Construction according to design approved by MWSC and transfer of ownership by the developer of water facilities within the subdivision to MWSC following inspection and final acceptance by MWSC.

MWSC’s Tariff, Appendix B and a map showing MWSC’s certificated service area may be reviewed at MWSC’s office located at 216 Main St., Maxwell, Texas.  MWSC’s Tariff, Appendix B and service area map also are filed of record at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) in Austin, Texas and may be reviewed by contacting the TCEQ, c/o Utility Rates and Services (Certification and Rate Design Section), Water Utilities Division, P.O. The Caldwell County Unit Road System is seeking bids for the period beginning October 1st, 2013 and terminating September 30th, 2014. The following bid items are Aggregate, Asphalt Materials, Flexible Base, Fuel (Regular Unleaded/No. 2 Diesel-Low Sulfur), Oil and Lubricants.

Specifications may be obtained by contacting (512) 398-7269 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday.) The item bid on should be clearly marked on the front lower left hand corner of the envelope.  Bids should show unit pricing and be submitted to the County Auditor’s Office, Caldwell County Courthouse, located at 110 S. Main St., 3rd fl., or P.O. Box 98, Lockhart, Texas 78644.

The deadline is September 13th, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. Bids will be opened in a public meeting of Commissioner’s Court, September 16th at 9:00 a.m., located at 1403 Black Jack St., Lockhart.
