You are hereby given notice that a petition has been filed by the Alabama Department of Human Resources requesting that your parental rights to Alisa Leyva, born on April 9, 2002 to Jenifer Leyva, at Corpus Christi Medical Center, Doctors Regional, Nueces County, Texas, be terminated. You are hereby given notice that you are required to file an answer with the Clerk of this Court and the Petitioner’s attorney, Aye Jefferson, P.O. Box 70100, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35407, within thirty (30) days after the last publication of this notice or a default judgment will be entered against you. A hearing has been set in this Court for the 6th day of June, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., at the Tuscaloosa County Juvenile Court, at which time you may appear and contest the same if you so choose.

Postponement of Notice of Project of the Lockhart Economic Development Corporation

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lockhart Economic Development Corporation (“LEDC”) intends to participate in a project whereby a business entity will make a capital investment and bring primary jobs to Lockhart and the surrounding area, and for which the LEDC will convey real estate to the business entity as an incentive for its doing so.  A public hearing on the project was scheduled to be conducted by the LEDC Board at its regular meeting on April 13th, at 6:00 PM at 217 South Main Street, 3rd floor Lockhart, Texas 78644.  This public hearing will now be scheduled by the LEDC Board at its regular meeting on May 11th, at 6:00 PM at 217 South Main Street, 3rd Floor Lockhart, Texas 78644.

Pursuant to Section 505.160, Texas Local Government Code, the real property will be conveyed and other incentives may be provided for the purpose of promoting and expanding such new business enterprises unless, not later than the 60th day after the date of the original notice, the City Council of the City of Lockhart receives a petition signed by more than 10 percent of the registered voters of the City requesting that an election be held before the property or economic development sales tax proceeds may be used to support and incentivize the project.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 7:00 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:

      SUP-20-05.  A request by Ajmal Anar for a Specific Use Permit to allow a DF-2 Duplex-Family Development Type on Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 1, Olive Grove Subdivision, zoned RMD Residential Medium Density District, located at 315 and 321 West Olive Street, and 901 and 905 North Blanco Street.

All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of this property who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission at or before the time the Public Hearing begins.

As an alternative to attending in person during the Covid-19 crisis, two-way audio communication using WebEx will be available for remote participation in the meeting.  Remote attendees may call in using their telephone prior to the start of the meeting.

Should any person be aggrieved by the Commission’s action, a request may be submitted in writing for an appeal to City Council.  Such request must be submitted to the Zoning Administrator (City Planner) within ten calendar days of the date of the Commission’s action.

NOTICE OF PERMIT APPLICATION TO

RE-WORK AN ABANDONDED OIL & GAS WELL FOR

FRAC SUPPLY USE

Filed By Eagleford Gas 8, LLC

Eagleford Gas 8, LLC has submitted an application for a permit to the Gonzales County Underground Water Conservation District (GCUWCD) to convert an abandoned oil & gas well into a water well for frac supply use. The proposed frac supply well is located approximately 6.5 miles S. of Gonzales, on County Road 308 in Gonzales  County.  Eagleford Gas 8, LLC proposes to produce approximately 554-acre feet of groundwater per year at a maximum pumping rate of 460 gallons per minute. The well will be completed in the Carrizo Aquifer.

The GCUWCD Rules in effect at the time of this permit application submittal are the July 10, 2018 Rules. Permit notice and hearing procedures are included in Rule 24.  Copies of  the GCUWCD’s July 10, 2018 rules are available at the GCUWCD office located at 522 Saint Matthew Street, Gonzales, Texas 78629 or online at the GCUWCD website www.gcuwcd.org . Interested persons may provide written comments to the GCUWCD on the proposed industrial supply well permit application. Written comments must be filed within thirty

(30) days of the date of publication of this notice and in accordance with Rule 24 of the rules of the GCUWCD. Comments should be submitted to the GCUWCD’s General Manager at 522 Saint Matthew, P.O. Box 1919, Gonzales, Texas 78629.

If no comments are received by the end of the 30-day comment period, a public hearing may not be required and the Board may act on the permit application.
