Richard Torrez, born on June 30, 1969, Lockhart passed away on Oct. 7, 2016 in Lockhart.
Richard was a construction worker, a job which he loved that took him all over the country. He was a loving and caring person always willing to help someone in need. If he knew you were having a bad day, he was willing to lend ear or helping hand. He also loved cooking for friends and fami

He was also a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Mandy Torrez; his father, Ramiro Torrez; his brothers, Ramiro Jr. (Beki) and Raymond; sister, Rebecca Reyna (Oscar); two nieces, three nephews; and various aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ramirez, and son, Anthony Torrez.
He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
The family received visitors at Deleon Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, from 8:30 – 10 a.m., with Mass following.
