Roy Franklin Castleberry, 76, of Temple, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 2, 2016.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
Affordable Burial and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
Roy was born to Herman and Mildred Castleberry on Jan. 5, 1940, in Dale, Texas. He graduated from Lockhart High School. On Oct. 15, 1988 he married Sharon McKinney Peete

rs at Western Hills Church of Christ in Temple, Texas, where they are both members.
Roy was owner and operator of R&M Automotive Machine Shop in Killeen for 38 years until his diagnosis with Alzheimer’s dementia. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of Temple; son, Dwayne and wife, Linda Castleberry, of Belton; daughter, Amy and husband, Donny Frits, of Troy; step-daughter, Leslie and husband, Kirk Wright, of Friona; step-son, David and wife, Bonnie Peeters, of Denton; and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Willie Castleberry, of Dale, and sister, Joyce Haddock, of Lockhart.
Memorials may be made to the Hematology Department of Baylor-Scott and White or Baylor Scott And White Hospice.

    So sorry to hear about the passing of Franklin Castleberry. We grew up together in Dale and rode the bus together and we visited their home and they would come out to our home. At the time my last name was Chamberlain. At least he is in no pain now and he will be missed. RIP.
