LOCKHART LION POWERLIFTING MEET The Lockhart Athletic Department hosted the 10th Annual Lockhart Lion Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, Jan. 15, in the old high school gymnasium. Coach Kelly Parker and Coach Brock expressed their gratitude and satisfaction with their athletes. “We are very proud of these young men,” Coach Brock said. “They competed hard and showed great sportsmanship during the meet. “The Lockhart Athletic Department would like to thank everyone who helped with the meet. It went smoothly because of the people who volunteered and helped run the meet. We especially want to thank all the students who helped with the meet. There were over 70 students who volunteered their own time and conducted themselves in a wonderful and respectful manner. This was a great representation of Lockhart High School”s student body,” Coach Brock said. The Lockhart varsity boys and girls powerlifting teams will compete in the Hays Rebel Powerlifting meet on Saturday, Jan. 22.
