Tony Chairez, Jr.

Mr. Tony Chairez, Jr., 55, of Maxwell, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2007. He was born June 14, 1952.
Mr. Chairez was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Chairez; mother, Oralia Ybarra Hurtado; brother, Ernest Chairez; and step-father, Julio Hurtado, Sr.
He is survived by his father, Antonio Chairez, Sr.; his daughters, Yvonne Chairez, Destiny Chairez, Ashley Cha

irez, Monica Mendoza; grandsons, Jonah Gutierrez, Jason Gutierrez and David Lee Chairez; brothers, Rudy Ybarra (Christine), Julio Hurtado, Jr., Emilio Tapia, Jr. (Norma), Alex Roy Chairez and Anthony Chairez; sisters, Irene Hurtado Caudillo (Rudy), Diane Hurtado Herrera (Jesse), Mary Alice Lopez (Juan) and Gloria Ida Martinez (Jesse); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the rosary was at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12 at the DeLeon Funeral Home.
Funeral mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Mary”s Catholic Church. Burial followed in Santa Maria Aida Cemetery in Maxwell.
Serving as pallbearers were Jonah Gutierrez, Rudy Ybarra, Jr., Max Herrera, Adam Gonzales, Cody Beard and Fernando Gomez. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Jonah Gutierrez, Jr., and Jeremiah Herrera.
