Wanda Schulle Holter, 96, passed away on April 3, 2008. Wanda was born on Dec. 31, 1911, in Caldwell County, Texas, to Henry and Laura (Hofheinz) Schulle.
Wanda was a member of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, in Maxwell. She was also a member of the Sons of Herman. Wanda was a retail clerk of Pittman”s in Lockhart.
She is preceded in death by her parents; first hu

sband, Oscar Riddle Sr.; second husband, Edwin G. Holter; son Oscar Riddle, Jr.; and five brothers.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Linda L. Guckian, and husband, James, of Canyon Lake; brothers, Marvin Schulle, of Dalton, Ga., and H.L. Schulle, of Houston; sisters, Linda Holter, Mary Ann Cheatham and Mildred Field, all of Lockhart; six grandchildren: Milann Guckian, Michael Guckian, Oscar Riddle, III, Marcie Johnson, Melanie Kollinger and Michele Edwards; and nine great-grandchildren: Justin Riddle, Kelsey Riddle, Matthew Kollinger, Collin Johnson, Trevor Kollinger, Morgan Johnson, Sabrina Llamas, Camryn Butts, MacKinzee Edwards and Tyler Edwards.
Serving as pallbearers for Mrs. Holter were Gregg Van Horn, Justin Riddle, Matthew Kollinger, Ken Smith, Sherwood Schulle, Collin Johnson, Andy Schulle and Gerhardt Shulle, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Adam Furtwengler, Kenny Goode and Clarence Cheatham, Jr.
A visitation in memory of Wanda was held on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at 4 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services were held on Monday, April 7, 2008, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Maxwell, at 10 a.m. and burial followed at Memory Lawn Memorial Park, in Martindale.
