NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 7:00 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:

P-15-07. A request by Irene Sanchez-Rocha for a Specific Use Permit to allow a DF-2 Duplex-Family Development Type (duplex on small lot) on 0.186 acre in the Byrd Lockhart League, Abstract No. 17, zoned RMD Residential Medium Density District and located at 1313 Pecos Street.
All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of this property who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission at or before the time the Public Hearing begins. Ham repeaters are used for base, mobile and handheld communications which are particularly useful as backup communication during emergencies, weather alerts, weather spotter reports, etc. We used our Austin repeaters regularly as a spotting service during severe weather for the National Weather Service, the City of Austin Emergency Operations Center, the State of Texas Races, Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service, for communications to Red Cross, 911 / Police / EOC / Hospital / Fire Dept. backup during Y2K, event communication for the Capital 10k, 3M Half Marathon, etc.
