Franklin Spencer
Franklin Delanor Spencer, 73, of Lockhart, passed away on Dec. 15, 2015. He was born on May 4, 1942 in Caldwell County, Texas to Rueben W. and Airlee Spencer.
While serving in the service he was in the Army Signal Corp.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William “Pete” Spencer; sister, Juanita Anderson; and nephew, Ruben Guy Spencer.
He is survived b
y his wife of 47 years, Shirley Diane Spencer; two sons, Gary Wayne Spencer and, wife, Joanna of Lockhart and Norman William Spencer and wife, Kymberly, of Lockhart; two sisters, Mary Chambers, of Lockhart, and Joyce Becker, of Houston; and one grandchild.
Family received friends from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at McCurdy Funeral Home, with graveside services following at 10 a.m. at Jeffrey Cemetery.
