Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2011 USDA RD Water System Improvements Project will be received by Tri-Community Water Supply Corporation at the TCWSC office at 92 Ward Street, (Corner of County Road 268 & 271), P. O. Box 11, Fentress, Texas 78622 until 10:00 AM – Contract A, 10:30 AM – Contract B & 11:00 AM – Contract C on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at which times the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing Water System Improvements.
Separate Bids will be received for:
Contract A – Water Wells: Drilling two shallow river bank water wells, three submersible turbine pumps and plugging and abandoning one shallow river bank well;
Contract B – Water Plant Improvements: Installation of three series of cartridge filters, electrical and control and site work for operation of three water wells;
Contract C – Water Lines: Construction of approx. 16,600 feet of 8-inch and approx. 3,300 feet of 12-inch water lines and appurtenances.
Bids shall be on a lump sum basis for Contract A, lump sum and unit price basis for Contract B, and on unit price basis for Contract C as indicated in the Bid Form.
