Angelita G. Martinez, 53, of Lockhart, passed away on Wednesday, July

13, 2016, in Austin, Texas at 3:17 p.m.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016, at Eeds Funeral Home where a Rosary was recited at 7 p.m.

Angelita was born on Jan. 25, 1963, in Brownfield, Texas to Martin Gonzales and Guadalupe Flores. She worked as a Caregiver at New Ho

pe Health Care.

Angelita is preceded in death by her two sisters, Anita Garcia and Maggie Garcia; and one granddaughter, Bailey Renee Alvarez.

Angelita is survived by her adopted parents, Roland and Emilia “Penny” Cruz, of Lockhart; two daughters, Danielle Martinez, of Luling, and Chelsea Martinez, of Maxwell; four sisters: Jovita (Floyd) Nunez, of Victoria, Maria Rivera, of New Branfuels, Dominga Perez, of Hereford, and Diana Gonzales, of Hereford; two step-sons, Adrian Deleon, and Patrick Rodrigez; granddaughters, Anabiel Chavez and Allison Rodrigez;and common law husband of 16 years, Daniel Rodrigez.
