Dorothy Mae White
Dorothy Mae White, 87, of Kyle, Texas, passed away at her home on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007. She was born in Lockhart, Texas, on August 21, 1920, to Robert W. and Minnie (Martindale) Monroe.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lockhart, and the United Methodist Women”s organization.
Her parents and bother, James Monroe, preceded her in death.<

Dorothy is survived by her devoted husband Lloyd White whom she married in Lockhart, Texas, on Jan. 19, 1946; two sons, James White and wife, Mary, of Flower Mound, Texas, and Robert White and wife, Marilyn, of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Lloy Lizcano and husband, Julio, of Austin, and Joyce Hughson and husband, Stan, of Kyle, Texas; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were James White, Robert White, Julio Lizcano, Stanley Hughson, Nicholas Miller and Michael White.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 17, 2007 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel, with Reverend Robert Hahn officiating. Interment followed at Lockhart City Cemetery in Lockhart.
