Bobby Earl Kinsey

Bobby Earl “Hamburger Bob” Kinsey, 78, of Bastrop, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in Lockhart. Bobby was born on March 18, 1930, in Dale, Texas to William Andrew and Viola Mae (Sivil) Kinsey.
Bobby was united in matrimony with his wife, Betty, on Dec. 31, 1948, in New Braunfels, Texas. “Hamburger Bob” owned and operated 13 restaurants throughout his yea

rs in the restaurant business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Viola Kinsey; son, Ronald Kinsey; granddaughter Tonya Marie Jones; and brother, Troy Kinsey.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Betty Kinsey, of Bastrop; sons, Rodney Kinsey and wife, Sami, of Garfield, and Roger Kinsey and wife, Joslyn, of El Segundo, Calif.; daughter, Karen Alford and husband, Tommy, of Lockhart; sister, Dolores King, of Pasadena; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled on Thursday, June 12, 2008, at 6 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home, and services will be on Friday, June 13, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home, with Rev Roger Kinsey officiating. Burial will follow at Bunton Cemetery, in Dale.
