Gloria M. McCue

Gloria M. McCue, 82, of Lockhart, formerly of Cameron, passed away Oct. 7, 2008. She was born on Oct. 10, 1925, in Cucamonga, Calif., to William L. Thomas and Jennete Uncey.

Gloria owned and operated the H&R Block in Rockdale and Cameron, Texas. She enjoyed being a commercial fisherman. She would head out to San Diego for fishing.

She is preceded in

death by her parents and a son, Thomas Buckley McCue.

She is survived by her husband Don Tokar, of Lockhart; sons Michael McCue, of Cameron, and Patrick McCue, Sr., of Santa Cruz, Calif.; daughter Kathy Butterworth, of Seattle, Wash.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008 at 7 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633.
