Verlyn Dillavou

Verlyn Dillavou, 43, of Lockhart passed away on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008. He was born on Nov. 11, 1964, in Denison, Iowa, to Russell and Jean (Arnold) Dillavou.

He worked for Truck City Ford in Buda, as a diesel technician, and loved his job and the man he worked for.

Verlyn Dillavou was a strong, loving and loyal husband, father and friend, who enjoyed Nascar r

acing, playing paintball, hunting and working on the ranch.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jean Dillavou.

Verlyn is survived by his father, Russell Dillavou; mother-in-law, Fredrica Kinnard; wife, Cassandra; sons: Jonathan, Alexander and Garrison; daughters: Larissa and Cassidy; brother, Dale; and sister, Valerie Rivas.

Visitation with the family was held on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at 1 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home.
