Doris R. Tacker

Doris R. Tacker, 96, of Fentress, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Luling, Texas. She was born on April 17, 1913 in Pittsburg, Texas, to John Melton and Lula (Davis) Riggins.

Mrs. Tacker is survived by her son, Jerry Tacker of Bastrop; daughter, Myrna Taylor (Harris), of Universal City, Texas; brother, John T. Riggins, of Dallas; grandchildren: Rick Taylor

, Scott Taylor, Travis Tacker and Cassie Tacker Hello; and seven great-grandchildren.

Family accepted friends beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2009, at Fentress United Methodist Church. Funeral service followed at 10 a.m., with Rev. Jenna Martin officiating. Interment at Fentress Cemetery in Fentress, Texas.
