Rogelio Recio, Jr.

Mr. Rogelio “Roger” Recio, Jr., 52, of Lockhart, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009. He was born on Nov. 16, 1956.

Mr. Recio is survived by his wife, Adela Recio; sons: Roger Ulysses Recio, Sal Caleb Recio, Justin Recio, Galen Recio, and Rogelio Recio, III; mother, Susie Recio; sisters: Rachel Reyna, Josie Acosta, Norma Recio, Olga Trelles, Nancy Tamayo, Geneva F

ranks, Sylvia Recio, Martha Campos and Cynthia Tamayo; brother-in-law, Jacob Maciel, Jr.; sister-in-law, Donna Goldsmith; and two grandchildren.

Prayer service was held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2009, at First Lockhart Baptist Church. Burial followed in San Pablo Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were: Jacob Maciel, Jr., John Torres, Jago Tamayo, Caleb Recio, Joseph Rollins and Micah Franks.
