Texas Exes celebrate Texas Independence Day

The Caldwell County Texas Exes will celebrate Texas Independence Day on Sunday, March 5 from 4-6 p.m. at Kreuz Market, 619 North Colorado in Lockhart.

Aaron Harris linebacker for the 2005 Texas Longhorn National Championship team will be sharing stories and joined by other teammates. A barbeque dinner including a choice of two meats (BBQ brisket, shoulder, sausage and rib), three sides, pickles, onions, bread, crackers and iced tea will be served. Wine will be available for a donation and beer will be available from Kreuz Market.

The $25 tickets can be purchased in Lockhart from Lucy Knight (512-398-2416), Liz and David Kristynik (512-376-2122), in Luling from Kay and Leo Tiller (512-738-1427), or at the door.
