Alicia Pastrano Perales

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Alicia “Lisha” Pastrano Perales, 79, of Lockhart, was called by our Heavenly Father on Aug. 6, 2009. She was born on Aug. 21, 1929.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sisto Pastrano and Maria Inez Barela; sisters, Josepha Ramirez, Lupe Vaquera Virginia Herrera and Esperanza Pastrano; and a brother, Joe Pastrano, of Beev

ille.

Mrs. Perales is survived by her husband of 58 years, Elias “Papa Lee” Perales; son, Juan Elias and wife, Rachel, of Austin; daughters, Norma Tapia (Emilio) of Maxwell, Sylvia Juarez (Peter) and Olga Garcia (Richard), of Lockhart, and Mary Alice Sabat (Geranimo III) of San Marcos; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Manuela Mayo, Connie Salazar and Geneva Martinez; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Aug. 6, 2009, from 6 – 9 p.m. Rosary was recited on Aug. 7, 2009, at 8:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Aug. 8, 2009, at 10 a.m., with burial following in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lockhart.
