Father’s Day at Golden Age Nursing Home

The Gary Job Corps Student Government Association Students shared Father’s Day with the residents of Golden Age Nursing Home in Lockhart. For more than 20 years, the Student Government Association from the Gary Job Corps Center have been active through community service with celebrating Mother’s and Father’s Day at local nursing homes in Lockhart, Luling, and San Marcos. Students gave Father’s Day Cards and assisted with the Casino Games, Blackjack, Roulette, 5 Card Stud, Bingo, and food, music and fellowship enjoyed by residents and visitors. SGA students Kamiyah King, Grace Rivers, Laniya Grayson, Cynthia Eaglin, SGA Coordinator Hope Powell, SGA Specialist CharDaney Beard, Golden Age Executive Director Nicole Burnett, Caldwell County Commissioner Ed Theriot, and Golden Age residents all took part in the event.
