Lions must win, Indians must win big to reach state playoffs

Lockhart simply must beat Kerrville Tivy at Lions Stadium Friday night to secure the fourth seed from District 13 in the 5A D2 state playoffs.
A win would give the Lions a 3-3 record in the district, which at best would tie Veterans Memorial and that would mean winless Cedar Creek winning at the Patriots. However, Lockhart would lose the tiebreaker since it lost to Veterans Memorial earlier this season. A loss would eliminate Lockhart from playoff contention.

Indians must win, and big
Prairie Lea faces a daunting task of winning at Leakey, a team that is coming off a 93-52 victory over Nueces Canyon.
Not only must the Indians win, but Prairie Lea must win by 24 to be in a three-team coin toss, assuming Medina wins at Nueces Canyon.
Only two teams from District 13 will qualify for the Texas 6-Man playoffs.
