Marcos G. Eureste

Mr. Marcos G. Eureste, 84, of Lockhart, passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2009. He was born on Oct. 7, 1925.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Eureste; daughters: Rebecca E. Swank, Esther Rack, Stephanie A. Jimenez and Susan A. Eureste; sons: Thomas A. Eureste and Carlos Eureste; sisters: Mary Benavidez, Josie Perez and Carmen Gomez; and brother, Manuel Eureste.

. Eureste was preceded in death by his parents, Escolastico and Angelita Eureste, and brothers, Escolastico Eureste and Crecencio Eureste.

Recitation of the rosary was at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at St. Mary”s Catholic Church. Funeral mass was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, also at St. Mary”s Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Mary”s Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Richard Perez, James Eureste, T.D. Eureste, Adrian Beltran, Jacob Swank and Benjamin Saucedo.
