Golden Age Home Assisted Living has announced the successful completion of Chloe Rowe’s seven-week medical office internship, conducted in partnership with Gary Job Corps. This program aims to provide free education and career training to young individuals looking to complete their high school education or earn certifications in various trades.

During her tenure at Golden Age Home, Rowe mastered essential office tasks, including the use of fax machines, management of spreadsheets, and the entry of medical records. More significantly, she became an integral part of the community, embracing the close-knit, family-like atmosphere of Golden Age Home and actively contributing to the well-being of its residents.

Reflecting on her experience, Rowe said, “I’ve learned that it takes many roles to make a community like this thrive. It’s like a small town, and I love being part of it and helping the residents.”

The internship not only enhanced Rowe’s administrative skills but also deepened her dedication to helping others — a commitment inspired by her time caring for her grandmother. Upon completion of her program, Rowe will be awarded a Medical Assisting certificate. Looking ahead, she is considering a future career in medical or dental administration and plans to return to college to study kinesiology and train under a physical therapist.

Rowe draws motivation from Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” as she looks forward to her projected graduation on June 28.

Golden Age Home Assisted Living is committed to fostering the growth and development of young professionals like Rowe, who bring compassion and commitment to their roles and enrich our community.
