Leon Botello

Mr. Leon Botello, 79, of Lockhart, passed away, Wednesday, April 22, 2010. He was born on Oct. 31, 1930.

Mr. Botello is survived by his wife, Angelita Botello; daughters, Yolanda Gonzales, Susie Rios and Mary Pastrano; sons, Fidel Botello and Leon Botello, Jr., sister, Vicky Rodriguez; step-brothers, Benito Botello, Juan Botello and Agusinte Botello; six grandchildren

; and five great-grandchildren.

Recitation of the rosary was on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Sara Sanchez, Amanda Zapata, Anthony Rios, Adrian Botello, Fidel Botello and Leon Botello, Jr.
