Pedro Morales

Pedro Morales, of Lockhart, beloved and cherished husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the age of 72. He was born in Fentress, Texas, to Julio and Francisca Morales on April 30, 1938.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Joe Luis Morales; and brother Julian Morales, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 52 ye

ars, Elidia Longoria Morales.

He has nine children: daughter, Adelita, and husband, Mike James, daughter, Armelinda and husband, Steve Gonzales, daughter, Janie Morales, son, Pete and wife, Tina Morales, daughter, Anna and husband, George DeLeon, III, son, Felix Morales, son, Gilbert and wife, Amy Morales, son, Joe and wife, Angela Morales, and daughter, Julie Morales. He is survived by 24 grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He is also loved by his brothers and sisters, Jimmy and Ninfa Alvarado, Jesse and Olivia Morales, Jose and Lydia Morales, Juanita Trevino, Lydia Morales and Maria Falcon.

Family will receive friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, from 5 – 8 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Lockhart, with Reverend Tom Bruns officiating. Interment will follow at St. Michaels Catholic Church Cemetery in Uhland, Texas.
