Richard Hendricks

Richard Opal “Dick” Hendricks was born in Vincennes, Ind., on April 27, 1946. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 22, 2012.

He was the father of three daughters and four sons. He has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved the Lord and his family. His favorite past times was fishing, gardening.

He is survived by his children: Shana and Jose

Guerrero, of Taylor, Texas, John and Laura Hendricks, of Lockhart, Penny and Hector Jimenez, of Lockhart, Richard and Kim Hendricks, of Prarie Lea, Shannon Crane and Angie Thompson, of Bicknell, Ind., and Richard Cox, of Loogootie, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roscoe Hendricks and Nellie Mae Hendricks and his brother John Hendricks.

Services will be held on April 7, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Prairie Lea Baptist Church in Prairie Lea, Texas.
