PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:

SUP-12-01.  A request by Marcelino Saucedo on behalf of Templo Rios De Aqua Viva for a Specific Use Permit to allow a building addition to an existing Church on 0.750 acres in the Byrd Lockhart Survey, Abstract No. 17, zoned RLD Residential Light Density District and located at 601 Silent Valley Road.

All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of this property who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission at or before the time the Public Hearing begins.

Should any person be aggrieved by the Commission’s action, a request may be submitted in writing for an appeal to City Council.  Such request must be submitted to the Zoning Administrator (City Planner) within ten calendar days of the date of the Commission’s action.

Box 120, Lockhart, Texas 78644, or by calling 512-398-0045.  Proposals will be accepted by mail or delivered at 105 South Colorado, Lockhart, until the opening on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, 2:00 p.m. CST.  LISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any irregularities.

FROM CONTRACTORS FOR THE NAVARRO ROOFING PROJECT AT NAVARRO ELEMENTARY FOR LOCKHART INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

Lockhart ISD will accept proposals from Contractors until 10:00 A.M. May 7, 2012 at the District’s Administrative Offices located at 105 South Colorado, Lockhart, TX 78644. Please submit the proposals to Tanya Homann’s attention. Work includes approximately 52,760 square feet of roof replacement and related work.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

The City of Lockhart, Texas, seeks proposals from qualified Construction Managers to provide Construction Manager-At-Risk (CMR) services using the one-step process authorized by Section 2267.251 of the Texas Local Government Code for the Restoration and Expansion of the historic Dr. Eugene Clark Library, 211 S. Main St., Lockhart, Texas.

Copies of the RFP will be available beginning Thursday, April 5, 2012 and may be picked up at City Hall, 308 W. San Antonio St., Lockhart, Texas during normal business hours upon submission of $50.00 per copy for the RFP and one set of plans.

Sealed envelope responses marked “Library RFP” must be submitted to the City Manager, City of Lockhart, P O Box 239, Lockhart, Texas 78644 or delivered to 308 W. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, during normal business hours and will be accepted until 2:00 pm Local Time, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at City Hall.
