Gregoria Chapa

Gregoria Juarez Chapa, 85, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, Kan.

She was born April 18, 1927, in at Martindale, Texas, the daughter of Agruelio and Catalina Navaro Juarez.

She married Alfredo Chapa July 4, 1954, at Martindale, Texas.  He died May 24, 1996.

Survivors include two sons, Fernando Chapa and Gus Chapa and wife, Bonnie, all of

Liberal, KS; three daughters, Judy Rine Barringer and husband, Don, Yolanda Bandt and husband David Luebbers, and Virginia Tucker, also of Liberal, Kan. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Eddie Chapa.

Rosary was at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Hector De La Vega presiding. Interment will be in Liberal Cemetery.
