Ruby Alyne Mayes

Ruby Alyne Mayes, 93, of Mason, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005 in Llano, Texas. She was born Oct. 1, 1912 in Driftwood, Texas to Sylvester C. Whisenant and Beaulah Mayes Whisenant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Lee Mayes; son, Jimmie Lee Mayes; four brothers; two sisters; and grandsons, David Clark and James Clark.

er sons, E.J. Mayes and wife Evelyn of Musgogee, Ok la., and Lee Roy Mayes and wife Hilda of Crestview, Fla.; daughters, Myrtle Malott of Kyle and
Joyce Walenta and husband Billy of Mason; sisters, Billie Webb of Garland and
Margaret Holt of Kyle; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31 at McCurdy Funeral Home, Lockhart. Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Barton Cemetery in Buda, with Rev. Ron Danley officiating.
