Wayne Maynard

Wayne Dowell Maynard, of Lockhart, Texas passed away on July 20, 2013, at the age of 82. He was born on May 2, 1931 in Leander, Texas, to Ira and Louisa Jane (Bonnet) Maynard.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Oneta Joyce McGee Maynard; and four siblings: Bessie Hickman, Bill Maynard, Leona Messer and Raymond Maynard. He is survived by two daugh

ters, Stephanie Ann Ponder and husband, Kenneth, and Linda Crawford and husband, Timothy Wayne; one sister, Irene Bolt; and three grandchildren, Casey, Cody and Courtney Crawford.

Family will receive friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart. Interment will follow at Jeffrey Cemetery in McMahan, with Rev. Gary Rodgers officiating.
