NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Transportation Code, Subchapter E, County Traffic Regulations, Sections 251-152 and 251-154, a Public Hearing will be held by the Caldwell County Commissioners Court to consider the adoption of an increase in the speed limit from 25 MPH to 30 MPH for the following roads: Forister Ranch Drive, Hazelnut Cove, Hazelnut Drive, Maverick Drive, River Garden Terrace, Rosewood Drive, Still Meadow Cove, and Still Meadow Drive in the Forister Ran Subdivision on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 9:45PM in the Caldwell County Commissioner Court located at 1403 Blackjack Street Lockhart, TX

Lockhart Independent School District is requesting information from qualified firms to provide bond underwriting services for its 2014 Bond Program for $63,915,000 and may include any other negotiated bond underwritings deemed necessary for the District during the next 5 years. The District intends to form a pool of underwriters to market the District’s bond sales. EFFECTS Enertech Resources, LLC.
is proposing to construct a new telecommunications (FCC form 854 File No. A0905319) tower located in Caldwell County, Texas also addressed as 1401 South Commerce Street, Lockhart, Texas 78644 at Lat N29 52 08.0; Long W97 39 58.9. The tower proposed is a 115″ Monopole with no tower lights as determined by the FAA. In accordance to the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), an evaluation is being conducted of the potential impacts the proposed tower facility may have on the environment.
Interested parties may review the application by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering the Form 854 File Number and may comment on the proposed structure by following at www.fcc.gov/asr/enviornmentalrequest. Tape/Float/Texture Public Bid– Clark
Library Phase II
The City of Lockhart is receiving sealed bids at 308 W. San Antonio Street Lockhart TX 78644, until 10am on June 12th, from qualified individuals and/or companies for materials and installation of the Insulation, Sheetrock, Tape, Float, and Texture in specified areas in the Connector between the Masonic Building and The Eugene Clark Library. Bids submitted must be good for 120 days. Sealed bid envelopes should be marked “Sheetrock”. Proof of general liability and worker’s compensation coverage naming the City of Lockhart as an additional insured will be required before final award.
All bids must include all materials and labor required to finish the job per specs and plans available. In your bid, please include the time scope of completion and projected start date.
For a general scope of the project, plan sets and specifications may be downloaded from the City of Lockhart website at www.lockhart-tx.org under Clark Library Phase II or viewed at 215 Bufkin Ln. in Lockhart, TX. A floor plan of the connector can page A1.3 of these plans and all associated detail pages. Sheetrock finish must be a Level 5 skim on all ceilings and walls.
