Billy Buehring

Billy Buehring, 69, of Niederwald, passed away on Oct. 12, 2008. He was born on Oct. 11, 1939, in Niederwald, to Bruno and Evelyn (Graef) Buehring.

Mr. Buehring was a member of the Trinity United Church of Niederwald. He was also a member of the Herman’s Hall. In December 2005 he retired from LCRA, where he was employed as a heavy duty machine operator.

lly is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Evelyn Buehring, of Niederwald; sons, Kelly Buehring, and wife, Donna, of Lockhart, and Jason Buehring, of Niederwald; sister, Doris Roach, and husband, Jimmy, of Uhland; and grandchildren Clay Buehring, Angelina Garcia and Ezekiel Garcia.

Visitation with the family was held on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at 6 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home. Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church, officiated by Rev. Leo Miller. Burial was at Niederwald Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Ed Daugherty, Brian Goertz, Gary Klaus, Greg Roach, Brian Dailey and Leroy Bierstedt.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Church of Niederwald, or First Assembly of God Church.
