Carl Edward Williams Jr
Carl Edward Williams Jr., 76, of Riverview, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 22. He was born in Stevens Point, Wis., the son of the late Carl E. Williams, Sr. and Rose Gertrude (Kujawski) Williams. He was the fifth of 14 children.
Carl grew up and attended school in Knowlton, Wis. His first marriage to Annie Mulder ended in a divorce. He later married Audrey Skrychpk
. Mr. Williams was a 42-year resident of the Tampa, Fla., area, where he owned A & C Cement Contracting. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and shooting pool. His son-in-law, Rual Mata, a former professional wrestler from Mexico, became his business partner.
He is survived by his wife Audrey; three daughters Kathy Paradice and husband Art, Jr., Beverly Mata and husband Rual, and Darlene McDuff of Florida; three brothers Myron Williams, Sr. and wife Beverly, Ernest Williams and wife Bernadine of Marshfield, Wis., Jerry Williams and wife Cathy of Sarasota, Fla.; five sisters Isabelle Sterzinger and husband Ambrose of Colby, Wis., Esther Hornik of Wausau Wis., Louise Pilgrim and husband Glenn of Pillager Lake, Minn., Judy Miller and husband Tom of Edgar, Wis. and Dawn Hernandez and husband Francisco Jose Donjuan of Maxwell, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
