Claire S. Walters

Claire was born in Badkissingen, Germany, on June 7, 1927 to Max and Erna Stempelmann. They moved to the USA.

She attended San Marcos State Teachers College, then married Walton Worth Kingsbery in 1945. He passed away in 1992.

She married William Albert Walters in 1994.

She was a member of the Junction Episcopal Church.

They moved to Del Rio, Texas about 2010 and ha

d help from son Bill and his wife, Pat Kingsbery, and Donna Corns Goehrs.

She passed away Aug. 10. Claire is survived by husband, Al Walters; sister Valeska Keller McHugh, and husband, Kevin John McHugh, and her children Mr. and Mrs. William Kingsbery, Myles Kingsbery and Lynn Hill; stepson Grady Walters; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., in Del Rio, Texas, on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014 at 5 p.m. with Father John Fritts of St. James Episcopal church in Del Rio will be officiating.
