Dorothy Boutwell

Dorothy Ellen Cole Boutwell was born on Sept. 20, 1937, to Everett and

Thelma McGee Cole at home in McMahan, Texas.

Dorothy departed this life on Dec. 26, 2011, at Warm Springs Rehab Hospital in Luling, Texas.

She is survived by her son, David Boutwell of Brewton, Ala., and grandsons, Anthony Boutwell, of San Antiono and Bradley Boutwell, of Arizona. Her son, Terry, pr

eceded her in death.

Dot is survived by one brother, Riley Wayne Cole, of McMahan, Texas, and a sister and brother-in-law, Nolan and Margie Cole Petty of Red Rock, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at 2 p.m. at O’Bannon Funeral Home, with Elder Joseph Weyel of Luling Primitive Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed at Jeffery Cemetery in McMahan. Honored to serve as pallbearers were her grandson, Anthony Boutwell, and nephews, Jimmy Petty, Jeremiah Boehme, Jim Smith, Justin Voigt and Richard Voigt.
