Edith Mae Dupert
Edith Mae Dupert, 86, of Lockhart, passed away on March 1, 2008. She was born on Nov. 21, 1921, in Yale, Okla., to Henry Frank and Frances (Brown) Roberts.
She was married on May 1, 1943, to Richard Dupert, in Luling, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ Church.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Bob Roberts and Gilbert Roberts; and s
isters Viola Nichols and Vietta Nicum.
She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Dupert, of Lockhart; son Ricky Dupert and wife, Dora, of Lockhart; daughter, Sheila Bartling and husband, Carl, of Wimberly; sisters Jerma Marbach of San Marcos, Jeanette Poe of Chicago, Ill. She was the loving grandmother of Damon Dupert and wife, Vereene, Chad Bartling and wife, Darsey, and Curt Dupert. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Lilly Dupert, Luke Bartling, and one en route.
Serving as pallbearers were Ricky Dupert, Carl Bartling, Damon Dupert, Chad Bartling, Curt Dupert and Ray Hitchcock.
A visitation was held in memory of Mrs. Dupert, on Monday, March 3, 2008, at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services were held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at McCurdy Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m., and burial followed at Memory Lawn Memorial Park, in Martindale, Texas.
