Ernest J. Wilhelm, III

Ernest J. “EJ” Wilhelm, III, 23, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 6, 2011.

EJ attended Lockhart High School before relocating to southern Illinois.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Robin Wilhelm, of Elkville, Ill., his father, Ernest Wilhelm, Jr., originally from Lockhart, and his sister, Tara Wilhelm, currently stationed at Naval Base, Norf

olk, Va.

EJ also leaves behind his loving grandparents, Mary Eva Wilhelm, of Lockhart, and Andrew and Inis Tennant, of Herco, Ill. He also leaves his loyal four-legged companion, Chillum, and many aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernest Wilhelm, Sr.

Visitation with the family was scheduled on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, from 5 – 9 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at DeLeon Funeral Home, 110 Cedar St. in Lockhart. Funeral Mass was scheduled at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, with burial following to St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Samuel J. DeLeon and Son/DeLeon Funeral Home, 110 Cedar St. Lockhart, Texas 78644.
