The workshop will begin with a discussion of fermentation basics followed by a demonstration of how to make kombucha, ginger beer, and other fermented sodas such as fermented lavender lemonade and beet kvass. Everyone will make a ginger bug together, which is the starter for making ginger beer, and will receive a SCOBY to take home. The workshop will end with a Q&A session. Samples will be provided.
