DESCRIPTION:Ready\, Set….Gobble! Join us for a 1-mile or 5K run/walk to celebrate fall in the park! Don your athletic gear\, and come on down to Lockhart State Park! Our Turkey Trot will be a fun run/walk on the park golf course and park trails. There will be two distances to choose from: 1-mile or 5K (3.1 miles)\, which both start at 9:00am. This event is open to runners and walkers of all speeds and sizes\, along with their canine companions (on a leash\, please). The course is not ADA accessible\, but the 1-mile route is stroller-friendly. Prizes will be awarded to the first finishers. This event is rain or shine. Registration not required.
