SUMMARY:Lockhart Western Swing and BBQ Festival – Friday
DESCRIPTION:This is an annual festival celebrating Western Swing Music\, BBQ\, and Texas Culture. September 27 – 29. Plus 32nd Annual Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame Show. The festival is free except for two events – ticket purchase information below. \nFriday\, September 27th \nThe Festival begins 7:00 pm on Friday evening at the Two Wishes Ranch\, located about 8 miles outside of Lockhart. The address there is 454 Hobby Horse Road\, Lockhart\, Texas\, 78644.  The Friday event is known as “The Gathering”\, and includes the 32nd Annual Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame Show\, featuring Al Dressen’s Super Swing Revue\,  a ten piece Western Swing ensemble.  \nThe Show features special guests including  Tony Harrison\,  Joe Settlemires\,  Louise Rowe\, Georgia Parker\, Sophia Johnson\,  Hillary Klug\, Jerry Case\, and more. Our Hall of Fame Inductees this year include Junior Knight\, Jimmy Burson\, Al Mouledous\, Bobby Wynne\, Benny Lueders\, Mike Christian\, and Tommy Hancock. \nThis event requires a ticket purchased in advance\, $30 per person.  Tickets include a fajita dinner with sides and drinks\, the Hall of Fame Show and Inductions\, and dance.  We can mail your tickets to you or if its too late for the mail we can hold them at Will Call on Friday evening. \n \nBuy Tickets \nPurchase tickets online for Friday 9/27 and 9/28 here: lockhartfest.com/ticket-purchase\n \nTo purchase tickets in-person please call Sandy Kosarek at 512 227-2177 through Wednesday\, September 25th. \nIf you have any trouble or questions please call or text 512 745-0659\, or email either info@lockhartfest.com or adressen@austin.rr.com.

DESCRIPTION:Calling all motorcycle enthusiasts! The Lockhart Town Team of HCWC is hosting a Gather and Ride event out at the beautiful Whizzerville Hall in order to raise funds for spreading the word about HCWC\, our services\, and healthy relationships to the Lockhart community. The group will take a leisurely ride through the countryside and afterwards\, food will be available for purchase. \nAll proceeds benefit the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center Lockhart Town Team.
