Dale VFD annual BBQ Dinner and Auction will be held Sept. 7 at the Dale Community Center. Dinner served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with auction beginning at 6 p.m.
Golden Age Home Assisted Living will host its 5th Annual Caldwell County Health Fair & Caregiver symposium on September 11 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Health Fair will feature vendors with information about Hospice, Home Health, Mental Health, Rehabilitation, Alzheimer’s Disease, Estate Planning and more. This year's symposium will feature guest speaker, Dr. Shannon-Johnson-Quaife, who will speak on Coping with Alzheimer’s. Live concert Thursday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. held at the First Baptist Church Lockhart. 315 West Prairie Lea St. in Lockhart. The Singing Men of South Texas is composed of Ministers of Music and church musicians from Baptist churches in South Texas. This chapter, one of six statewide chapters, draws members from Georgetown to McAllen and Del Rio to Port Lavaca. The South Texas chapter is directed by Larry Danks. The Singing Men of Texas were created in 1975 and serve as part of the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
