For 20 years Bill has worked to protect the public investment in McDonald Observatory by advocating and educating for astronomy-friendly lighting. Nowadays\, light pollution blocks most of us from enjoying the beauty of the night sky. Many people have never even seen the Milky Way. But we can have great lighting without light pollution. Come hear Bill discuss this issue. \nLPMN members will host a potluck dinner starting at 6:00 PM. The feature presentation will begin at 6:30. The group will take a leisurely ride through the countryside and afterwards\, food will be available for purchase. \nAll proceeds benefit the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center Lockhart Town Team.
