Local Non-Profit Feria de Culturas will be sponsoring their Annual Dia de Los Muertos Community Altar as part of First Friday festivities on November 1, 2019. The celebration honors the lives of deceased loved ones by placing an altar adorned with pictures of the dearly departed, their favorite foods, sugar skulls, along with candles and marigold flowers. For the first time we will invite guests upstairs to enjoy a night of hauntingly delicious cocktails carefully prepared by our very own Joe Oviedo. Also will be serving a sneak peak of the bar bites you can expect to see upstairs. So be ready to socialize and just enjoy a feel good friday with the gang. You might even get to meet a ghostly wild bill??? You'll hear plenty of stories I'm sure.

Time to play Bingo! Archies will be hosting a gift card bingo on Sunday, November 3rd at 2 pm in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Parish Hall in Martindale. Cards are $2 ea or 3/$5. Come win gift cards worth $20 (10 regular games), $50 (1 double bingo) or a $100 (blackout) gift card. Double and Blackout games will be $1 per card to play. Come try your luck and enjoy some delicious food and drinks.

Lockhart Veterans Day Parade

We invite you to participate in the Lockhart Veteran’s Day Parade, Saturday, November 9, 2019. Presented by American Legion Post 41 and Hector Rangel Post Commander. Completed applications are due by November 1, 2019. They will also be available the day of the Parade. Lineup will begin at 8 a.m. on Nov. 9. Keep Lockhart Beautiful 12th Annual Cleanup

The Keep Lockhart Beautiful Cleanup is set for its 12th year in 2019. This is Lockhart's premier community service opportunity for families, students, organizations and businesses. All cleanup volunteers are encouraged to gather at the Lockhart City Park Main Pavilion by no later than 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 to confirm your project and litter drop-off locations, turn in safety sheets, and collect additional supplies.
