Come out to “Meet the Lions” Saturday\, September 12\, from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm by Lions Stadium at 1 Lion Country Drive. \nWe will be serving to-go lunches with delicious pork chops\, green beans\, and potato salad for FREE to Lockhart Lion student athletes. For everyone else\, it is just $8 a plate suggested donation. Fantastic food at great value for a terrific cause! \nSimply drive into the parking lot by the field house at 1 Lion Country Drive and pull up to volunteers ready to take your donations per dinner. Our Lions\, safely masked\, will then pass dinners to you through your car window for you to take home to enjoy! \nDecorate your car with “Lion Pride” when you come through the line. We will be filming the decorated cars and choose one lucky winner to receive 2 free football tickets and the game ball signed by the Lions! The Gaslight-Baker Theatre will present two one-act romantic comedies\, starring Terri Bennett\, Steve Lawson\, and Jason Jones\, and directed by Jason Jones. \nA six performance run will begin Friday\, Sept. 18 and run through Saturday\, Sept. 26. Tickets for this event are $10 and will be limited in order to ensure proper social distancing\, and masks will be required. \nShowtimes for Friday\, Sept. 18\, Saturday\, Sept. 19 and Sunday\, Sept. 20 \n\nFri. 9/18 – 7PM\nSat. 9/19 – 7PM\nSun. 9/20 – 2PM\n\nA Blooming of Ivy\, by Garry Williams \nIvy Taylor\, a widow of twenty years\, and George Thomas\, a widower for a year\, have always been farm neighbors and friends. But one spring morning George awakens to the sound of Ivy’s tractor\, and realizes that this is the first morning he hasn’t “woken up mad” since his wife died. He spruces up a bit and pays Ivy a call. \nWhen God Comes for Breakfast\, You Don’t Burn the Toast\, by Gary Apple \nWhat do you do when “The Almighty” drops in for a casual breakfast?
