Frances Duce

Frances M. Duce, of Lockhart, passed away on Aug. 12, 2013, at the age of 89. She was born on Oct. 10, 1923, in Dale, Texas, to Oland Thomas and Dora Bell Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Duce, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Jack A. Duce, Jr., and wife, Catherine; her daughter, Judy Satterfield and husband, Roger; brother-in-law, Ted Duce; grandda

ughter, Audrey Shafer and three foster grandchildren: Timothy Satterfield, D.J. Satterfield and Richard Satterfield.

The family will host a viewing from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart. Funeral services will be at McCurdy Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013. Graveside services will be at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, at 12:45 p.m., Monday, Aug. 19, 2013.
