James Dailey

James Newton Dailey, 91, of Lockhart passed away peacefully at the Parkview Nursing Home on Aug. 7, 2014. He was born Sept. 14, 1922, to John Wesley and Gladys Solomon Dailey in Webberville, Texas.

James was a union carpenter and worked mainly in construction most of his life.

James is preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and one son, Larry.

He is survived by his sons,

Don Dailey and wife, Joyce, of Lockhart, and Ronnie Dailey and wife, Cynthia, of Rock Hill, S.C.; sister, Norma Dailey Bellah, of Garfield, Texas; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 12, 2014, at the Neiderwald Cemetery, Neiderwald, Texas.
