James Hernandez
Mr. James Hernandez, 55, of Lockhart passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014. The son of Margie Velasquez Hernandez and Santiago R. Hernandez, he was born on Feb. 3, 1959.
Mr. Hernandez is survived by his wife Diane Karstetter; his parents; and sisters, Kiki Hernandez, and Gina Hernandez.
Recitation of the holy Rosary was planned at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at St. M
ary of the Visitation Catholic Church, in Lockhart. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, also at St. Mary of the visitation Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Daniel Martinez, Joseph Davilla, Caleb Hernandez, Jordan Spruell, Jeff Johnson and John Vira. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob and Ryan Martinez.
James was a highly intelligent and talented musician. He touched many with his music.
Like many of us he had challenges and although we will miss him, he will no longer be
suffering and finally be at peace. James will always be remembered for his smile and the sound of his voice. Rest in peace to the sound of your music forever and always.

James never gives up his faith. I had good great memory of helped with him as good enjoyed and more energy life to mowing grass, fixing porch and fence for more than two months. My daughter loved to dance and listen his music several time during summer at his home. We will miss him.
