NOTICE
The City of Martindale has recently received pending notification for a contract award from the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs (TDA) for water system improvements. Accordingly , the City is seeking to contract with a qualified professional administration/management firm to administer the contract.
Please submit three (3) copies of your proposal of services and a statement of qualifications for these proposed services to Mayor Randy Bunker, Martindale City Hall, 409 Main Street, P.O. Box 365, Martindale, Texas 78655.
Proposals must be received by the city no later than 5:00pm on July 12, 2016 to be considered. The city of Martindale reserves the right to negotiate with any and all Grant Administrator/Management firms that submit proposals , as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns , Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Lockhart Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 11, 2016, at 6:30 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:
ZV-16-03. A request by Ferris Joseph for a Variance to Section 64-203(5), Chapter 64 “Nonresidential appearance standards”, Lockhart Code of Ordinances, to waive the requirement to screen loading docks for a new commercial building on Lot 1, Revised Bufkin Commercial Addition, zoned CHB Commercial Heavy Business District and located at 113 Bufkin Lane.
All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of this property who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing, or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner for presentation to the Zoning Board of Adjustment at or before the time the public hearing begins.
Should any person be aggrieved by the Board’s decision, a written petition for appeal stating that the decision of the Board is illegal in whole or in part and specifying the grounds of the illegality, may be presented to a court of record within ten calendar days after the minutes of the meeting are approved by Board.

The City of Lockhart Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at 7:00 P.M. in the lower level of City Hall, 308 West San Antonio Street, Lockhart, Texas, to receive public input regarding the following:
SUP-16-07. A request by Liberty Multifamily, LLC, on behalf of Adolfo Sendejo for a Specific Use Permit to allow MF-2 Multifamily Residential Development Type in the form of 288 units with a community center on 18.613 acres zoned RHD Residential High Density District and located on the north side of the 2200 Block of West San Antonio Street (Hwy 142).
SUP-16-08. A request by First Baptist Church, for a Specific Use Permit to allow a Church as a Public/Institutional Use on Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 24, 25, 26, and 27, Block 2, East Side Addition, zoned RMD Residential Medium Density District, located at 504, 506, 508 and 514 Neches Street, and 507, 511, and 515 San Saba Street.
SUP-16-09. A request by Juan Campos for a Specific Use Permit to allow a Manufactured Home on 0.32 acres in the Byrd Lockhart League, Abstract No. 17, zoned RMD Residential Medium Density District and located at 1304 Hondo Street.
All interested persons owning property within 200 feet of these properties who wish to state their support or opposition may do so at this Public Hearing; or they may submit a written statement to the City Planner or his designee for presentation to the Planning and Zoning Commission at or before the time the Public Hearing begins.
Should any person be aggrieved by the Commission’s action, a request may be submitted in writing for an appeal to City Council. Such request must be submitted to the Zoning Administrator (City Planner) within ten calendar days of the date of the Commission’s action.
