CITY OF LOCKHART, TEXAS
The City of Lockhart, Texas (City), invites proposals until noon Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 308 W San Antonio St, Lockhart, Texas 78644, from interested and qualified persons and/or firms with experience and technical qualifications related to building construction, building inspection, plan review, ADA (American with Disabilities Act) requirements, and other related professional and technical services to provide support services typically required by a city building inspections department. The ability to interpret and apply the City’s code and ordinances, as well as to be familiar with applicable state and federal regulations, is critical to provision of these services. Qualified Applicants must possess all licenses, certifications, and permits necessary to provide the professional services as described in the proposal packet. Proposals submitted should be marked externally “RFP Inspections”.

REQUEST FOR
PROPOSAL
& STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
The Lockhart Independent School District (LISD) will accept Proposals and Statements of Qualifications (Proposals) from contractors performing Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services until Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 2pm at the Lockhart ISD Administration offices, 105 S. Colorado, Lockhart, Texas 78644. The proposals received shall then be publicly opened and read aloud at the Lockhart ISD Board Room at the same address. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 2pm at the Lockhart High School Conference Center which is located just inside the main entrance to Lockhart High School at 906 Center Street, Lockhart, TX 78644. Attendance at this pre-submission conference is strongly recommended as this will be the time prospective proposers may ask questions concerning the CMAR project. This is a one-step process. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOCKHART, TEXAS, CALLING A GENERAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 4, 2014 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING ONE MAYOR; ONE COUNCILMEMBER DISTRICT 3; AND, ONE COUNCILMEMBER DISTRICT 4; PROVIDING FOR JOINT ELECTION WITH CALDWELL COUNTY; ESTABLISHING EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS; ORDERING NOTICE OF ELECTION TO BE GIVEN AS PRESCRIBED BY LAW; AND MAKING PROVISIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE ELECTION.

Flooring Bid for Public Bid– Clark Library Phase II
The City of Lockhart is receiving sealed bids at 308 W. San Antonio Street Lockhart TX 78644, until 10am on Thursday, July 3rd, 2014, from qualified individuals and/or companies for materials and installation of Flooring in specified areas in the Connector between the Masonic Building and The Eugene Clark Library. Bids submitted must be good for 120 days. Sealed bid envelopes should be marked “FLOORING”. Proof of general liability and worker’s compensation coverage naming the City of Lockhart as an additional insured will be required before final award.
All bids must include all materials and labor required to finish the job per specs and plans available. In your bid, please include the time scope of completion and projected start date.
